About Robert Johnson, CEO

Robert Johnson is a Sacred Heart Alumnus of the class of 16’ and 17’ originally from the city of Poughkeepsie, NY. After attaining his first Master's degree he began working in SHU’s Undergraduate Admissions Office for three years . Robert has close to a decade worth of experience in educating on equity and inclusion. In the fall of 2020 he took on the role as inaugural Director of Multicultural Affairs building the foundation of Sacred Heart University's Multicultural Center. In this position he serves as an advocate for underrepresented students and is responsible for the development and implementation of culturally responsive programs, resources and services provided through Multicultural Affairs. Robert also serves as an adjunct faculty member teaching on Diversity and Cross Cultural Issues within Organizations. Robert is extremely passionate, driven and committed to helping students, educators and professionals find their voice and purpose through his work.
